Where to start

We encourage you to connect with local services that support your right to a good life. We know it can be hard to know where to start.

  • Your general practitioner (GP) is a great place to begin. They can help link you in with services.
  • The Brotherhood of St Laurence are the experts in helping people learn about the services available in Banyule. You do not need to have an National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) (Show info)  plan to have a chat. You can reach out to them in person or online.
  • Family, friends and other people who care for you are another great place to start finding services that are right for you.
  • To find a registered NDIS provider in your local area, use the NDIS provider search tool.
