Do you wonder about what happens to your recycling when it is collected from your street? Book in your group to find out at the Rethink Centre waste education centre.

Our sessions explain and tour our local recycling facility, located at our Bellfield Operations Centre.

Groups of up to 50 people attend for a 2-hour sessions.

Cost: free to Banyule residents and community groups. Others: $518 for a group of 50.

Recycling revealed: tour of a Material Recovery Facility

Find out how used packaging is sorted into material type by exploiting the physical differences between of each of the packaging types and the materials they are made from.

Then see how it is done as you view a Material Recovery Facility at work via an elevated viewing balcony, and then return to our education room for a Q&A session about what you have seen.
