Coming to the Rethink Centre

The Rethink Centre is closed. On-site visits and excursions are not possible until January 2023. Necessary building works need to be complete before we can open our doors to visitors. Apologies for the inconvenience.

How to access the Banyule Rethink Centre entrance

Parking

There is no car access from Waterdale Road or parking on-site. Parking for buses and cars is available in Banksia Street opposite Osney Avenue(PDF, 555KB), Bellfield.

Arriving at the Rethink Centre

If, when you arrive, you have any questions about access or parking arrangements, please call 9490 4532 for assistance.

After parking, walk along the bike path leading off Banksia Street near the corner of Osney Avenue and up to the Rethink Centre gate. Use the gate intercom and wait outside the gate until welcomed by a Rethink Centre guide.

The Rethink Centre is part of a busy working industrial site where trucks are dropping off waste and taking away recyclables for reprocessing.

For your own safety we ask you to:

  • access the centre via the Banksia Street gate
  • keep in your group
  • stay in the areas that are safe
  • follow the instructions of your session leaders
  • wear flat-soled enclosed shoes.
