Planning permit documentation and specific advice

Use this form to:

  • organise a copy of a historical planning permit, fee varies from $60 (residential) to $100 (commercial)
  • organise a copy of historical endorsed plans, fee varies from $120 (residential) to $200 (commercial)
  • obtain property information consistent with Regulation 51(2) of the Building Regulations 2018, $52.10
  • obtain specific planning advice, for instance 'Is a permit required?' $155.

Before you start

You will need:

  • planning permit reference number (contact us to find out the permit reference number)
  • description of any specific planning advice you need
  • copies of plans and any other additional information to support your request for specific advice
  • a credit card to pay the application fee.

Copies of endorsed plans

To obtain copies of endorsed plans, you must be the current owner of the property or provide the written consent from either:

  • the current owner, or
  • the original draftsperson/architect, or
  • the original applicant.
