Use this form to apply for simple planning applications.
To be considered and processed as a VicSmart application, the project must meet all the requirements listed in Clause 71.06-1 of the Banyule Planning Scheme.
You must also specify the applicable VicSmart classes across all applicable planning zones and overlays affecting the site. This also needs to be done for particular provisions listed as sub-clauses of Clause 52 of the Banyule Planning Scheme.
Before you start
To help you complete this form, there are details you need to know and documentation you must have, including:
- property details and existing conditions
- proposed site, floor and elevation plans
- current copy of title (obtained within the last 3 months, purchase a current copy of your title at LANDATA)
- demolition plan (if applicable)
- arborist report on the impact to existing or neighbouring vegetation (if applicable)
- response to the relevant ResCode standards found in Clause 54 of the Banyule Planning Scheme for projects with outbuildings, low impact dwelling extensions and front fences
- credit card for fee payment: fees vary based on the type of proposal or development cost.
