Standard Terms
1. The Promoter of the Banyule eNews Subscriber Competition (Competition) is Banyule City Council, ABN 16 456 814 549, of 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough VIC 3088
2. Entering the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may, in its discretion, refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions
About the Competition
3. The name of the Competition is Banyule eNews Subscriber Competition
4. The Competition aims to increase the number of subscribers to the Banyule Council electronic newsletter to increase awareness of local news, services, programs and works.
Who can enter
5. Entry is open to all Banyule residents who have a valid email address.
6. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, including but not limited to Banyule City Council staff, councillors, contractors and agencies associated with this promotion, are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.
How to enter
7. Entry is automatic for new and existing subscribers to Banyule eNews
8. You can subscribe to the newsletter at www.banyule.vic.gov.au/Contact-us/Newsletter-subscription
9. Entry to the Competition is free.
10. There is a limit of one (1) entry per entrant.
11. The competition opens from 1 March 2024 to 31 May 2024.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
13. Each entrant is only eligible to win one prize.
Winner Selection
14. There will be six (6) winners over the Competition period.
15. Competition winners will be selected at random from the Banyule eNews subscriber list.
16. Two (2) Competition winners will be contacted after each complete calendar month on the following dates: Monday 1 April 2024, Monday 6 May 2024, and Monday 3 June 2024.
17. Competition winners will be randomly selected from the Banyule eNews subscriber list.
18. If a Competition winner can’t be contacted within 72 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to randomly select another winner.
Prizes
19. Six (6) Banyule E-Newsletter subscribers will win one (1) of six (6) $50 Banyule Biz Gift Cards that allow card holders to spend the amount locally at Banyule business.
20. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash
21. Winners are bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Banyule Biz Gift Card.
