Community Ball raffle raises over $1600

On Saturday 20 July, local community members, councillors and Mayor Tom Melican came together at the Great Hall Ivanhoe to celebrate the annual Banyule Community Ball.

The event featured live entertainment, food and dancing as well as a raffle to raise money for the Banyule Community Fund (BCF). The raffle was a huge success with over $1600 worth of tickets sold, and some very excited winners!

All of the ticket money was donated to the BCF to support local charities that need more support. A series of awesome prizes were donated by local businesses, such as a 3-month membership to WaterMarc Banyule and a gift voucher for Dulce Ice Creamery in Greensborough.
