Our recent audit of bins showed that 28% of the average recycling bin is contamination. That means recyclable or compostable waste is sent to landfill, which costs us all more.
We have hit our target of creating 1000 jobs and training opportunities by 2025. The target was a collective aim of our Inclusive Local Jobs Strategy and our Social Enterprise Strategy.
