Join us for this in-person workshop focused on making your garden more sustainable and water-efficient.
In this workshop, we will explore practical techniques for capturing, storing, and using water wisely in your garden. As the climate changes we need to take even more care to use water efficiently.

We will also discuss how to manage your garden during both extremely dry and wet conditions.
After the presentation, we will walk up to the Sustainable Macleod Community Garden for a tour and to hear all about their water-saving practices and techniques.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are a seasoned gardener or just getting started.
Each participant will leave with valuable tips, tricks and strategies to help make your garden more water smart.
A light lunch will be provided, so please note dietary needs during registration.
Things to know
Children aged 10+ are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
We will be both indoors and outdoors so please dress for the weather and bring sun protection. Wear comfortable clothing.
Bring a reusable water bottle and keep-cup.
If you are unwell on the day, please stay home to protect others.
