Poetry hunt

August is National Poetry Month and we will be celebrating with a bang.

Mother Tongue Poetry, with the support of a Banyule Arts and Culture Grant, will be presenting Voices in The Streets throughout August.

On the poetry hunt, you can discover stories written by diverse women tucked amongst the streets and parks of Banyule and beyond.

Locations

An interactive map of all the poems' locations will be available throughout August.

There are 15 poems scattered through Ivanhoe, Bellfield, Heidelberg West, Heidelberg Heights, Rosanna, Heidelberg and Bulleen.

Workshops

Also for National Poetry Month, there are a series of themed, poetry craft writing workshops held from late August to mid-September. Check the link found on this page.
