Flex your creative muscles and join us for this in-person love of nature crafting and meditation workshop, part of the new Banyule Loves...Workshop Series.
This workshop will be a hands-on day of activities exploring nature journaling, meditation, sketching and crafting. Led by Lisa Conley, Banyule Environment Team, the workshop will discuss our love of the natural world, or biophilia, and how to bring it into our everyday lives. All levels of creativity are welcome.
Each participant will receive their own nature journal to take home and a hand-made craft from found natural materials.
Lunch will be provided, so please note dietary needs during registration.
Agenda
- 12:00-1:00 pm: short presentation and nature journaling
- 1:00-1:30 pm: lunch and connection time
- 1:30-2:00pm: outdoor meditation and materials collection
- 2:00-2:30pm: nature sketching
- 2:30-3:00pm: crafting with found materials
Children aged 10 and older are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. We will be both indoors and outdoors, so dress for the weather and bring sun protection
Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Bring a reusable water bottle and keep-cup.
If you are unwell on the day, stay home to protect others.
