Join us for a day to celebrate and recognise the many different backgrounds that make up our rich and diverse community, in the lead up to Harmony Week 2025.

About Harmony Bazaar

Harmony Bazaar is a colourful, new family-friendly event with a range of multicultural market stalls to explore.

Enjoy interactive music workshops, such as African drumming, belly dancing and lots more. Following the markets and music, a free movie screening of Ferdinand (rated G).

There will also be a small selection of local food vendors.

Program

  • 12-3pm: market stalls, activities and creative workshops
  • 12-12.45pm: Djirri Djirri dance by Djirri Djirri
  • 12.45-1.15pm: bhangra and belly dance by Azura Oasis
  • 1.15-2pm: African drumming by The Knowing Project
  • 2-2.30pm: Persian dance by Yarra Foundation
  • 2.30-3pm: Malaysian-inspired song by Jimmy Fong
  • 3-5pm: movie screening of Ferdinand

The film

Ferdinand, rated G.

After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure.

Getting there and away

The closest bus stop 566: Stop Cameron Pde/Macorna St, then about a 13-minute walk.

There is some public parking available at the park, as well as ample street parking.

Near the upper level carpark and playground.

There will be an accessible toilet unit on site. However please note that this park does have hills and uneven ground.
