About the speaker

Ben Sandhu has advised startups and accelerators for over a decade in both the UK and Australia. He is passionate about using business as a force for good, having worked with Bethnal Green Ventures and The Difference Incubator to mentor startups focused on social and environmental change. As a facilitator, Ben headed up RMIT’s LaunchHUB programme, and was a Senior Lecturer and Industry Fellow at Monash Business School.

Using his background in professional sport, Ben was a co-founder of Ida Sports - a startup focused on reducing the gender inequality that exists within football. Ben helped build Ida from its first prototype into a thriving global company that has received investment from the LA Dodgers, the Billie Jean King Foundation, Elysian Park Ventures, R/GA Ventures and others. More than anything though, Ben loves helping people that are passionate about a problem turn their ideas into thriving businesses.
