Banyule Youth Summit

Young people age 12-25, join us for the 2025 Banyule Youth Summit, which brings together people from across the community to make change on issues that matter to you.

You will discuss and debate topics and work together to find solutions that will improve life in Banyule.

Your proposals will then be presented to Council who will commit to completing as many of the recommendations as possible. People leaders and relevant team members will be invited to a presentation of the recommendations from you.

Agenda and discussion

• Young people will gather for discussion at 9am
• Stakeholders and staff will view recommendations at 1.30pm

Discussion topics will be finalised with the input of young people in the lead up to the event. Past topics have included mental health environment, cultural diversity, gender equality and disability inclusion.

Use bus stop 513 Beleura/Main Road.

Prayer and low sensory spaces will be provided.

Venue has accessible parking, entry and toilets.
