The rotunda has a pitched sheet roof, a sealed path with a gentle incline leading to the accessible open timber floor area. The octagonal timber rotunda has balustrades to 6 of 8 sides and a slightly elevated position looking over the slope of the park and walking trail.

Each side of the rotunda is 0.93m long.
