Join a friends of group

Our extensive network of bushland reserves and wildlife corridors are jointly managed by the Bushland Management Unit, Environmental Planning team and the various friends of groups and other environmental volunteer groups.

Volunteer groups assist with tree plantings, wildlife surveys and ongoing weed management. Most groups hold working bees over a couple of hours, 1 weekend each month, all tools provided, often with tea and coffee to follow.

Joining a friends of group is a great way to get outdoors, help the environment, and meet like-minded members of your local community.
