Pre-school and kindergarten

Find childcare centres we operate and local kindergarten services.

Preschool Field Officers (PSFO) support kindergartens to provide an inclusive classroom meeting your child’s needs. They observe the learning environment, identify children's needs, and provide advice about:

  • behaviour and play skills
  • communication and social interactions
  • learning and development
  • school readiness
  • the learning space
  • resources to support inclusion of children with disability

Preschool Field Officers take referrals from kindergarten services and educators. If you think your kindergarten would like support, speak to an educator to request a referral. The PSFO Team at Uniting can be emailed at psfo.northwest@vt.uniting.org
