Centrelink and your child's immunisation information

If you have received a letter from Centrelink or Medicare stating that your child’s immunisations are overdue you will need to ensure that their vaccinations are up-to-date and that Centrelink has access to correct information.

It could be that:

  • Your child’s vaccinations are not up-to-date: contact us to discuss catching up
  • Your child was vaccinated overseas: notify the Australian Immunisation Register
  • Your child’s vaccinations are up-to-date but there’s no link between the immunisation register and Centrelink.

Go to my.gov.au and sign in to your Centrelink account and check under ‘profile’.

You can contact the Australian Immunisation Register on 1800 653 809.
