Cultural Diversity Week

Cultural Diversity Week is celebrated annually in March, and is centred on Harmony Day on 21 March. It coincides with the United Nations Day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination and Harmony, and is celebrated around Australia. Activities and events happening during this week change from year to year.

Shop 48: The Harmony Centre

Shop 48 is located in the Bell Street Mall in Heidelberg West. It is a community space designed to support the local culturally diverse community, and features a number of co-located organisations who deliver their services to the community.

Welcoming refugees

World Refugee Day

World Refugee Day is internationally observed on the 20 June each year. The day is dedicated to raising awareness of the situation of refugees throughout the world.
