We can help you reduce your power bills and energy footprint by switching to solar energy for your home.

Bulk-buy program

You can get high-quality and affordable solar power through the Solar Savers program, an initiative of 10 local governments.

We know that residents want solar energy, but can be put off by the initial expense and the choices of finding the right system.

Who the program is for

This program is open to homeowners, renters and business that do not already have solar power.

It is best if you:

  • are home during daytime hours
  • have average to high electricity use.

Benefits

Solar Savers makes the switch to solar power easy.

It helps residents with selection and installation from start to finish, and matches you with a trusted installer that suits your energy requirements.

The result is reduced bills and security against future electricity price rises.

How the program works

  1. Solar Savers checks that you are eligible (if you are not, alternatives will be proposed).
  2. It connects you with an accredited installers to discuss details of your home and electricity usage.
  3. A quote will be arranged.
  4. You review the costs and approve if want to proceed.
  5. The installer leads the process to completion.
  6. 5% of installations will be checked by independent auditors, yours may be one.

Rebates and loans

Rebates

Solar Victoria provides grants under their Solar Homes program.

There offer rebates for 3 systems:

  1. standard rooftop solar panel system
  2. a solar battery system
  3. solar hot water system or heat pump

You can only receive a rebate for one system from the program. Apply at Solar Victoria.

Loans

Solar Victoria also offers a loan to decrease the expense of installing a system.

It is repaid from the savings you will make on your electricity bills, and can be applied for with your rebate application.

Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme

This Australian Government initiative offers small-scale technology certificates (STCs) when you generate renewable energy.

The certificates help offset the cost of a system installation.

A certificate will be listed as a discount on a quote when you apply with an accredited installer.
