You need a land information certificate if you are selling a property. It is supplied to prospective buyers with the Section 32 or contract of sale.
It provides information including:
- valuation rates – general or special charges
- arrears of money owing
- orders and notices made under the Local Government Act
- local law flood levels (if any).
The standard fee to receive a certificate is $29.70 (allow 5 days for processing). For same-day, urgent certificates, the fee is $114.70.
You can:
- order certificates for multiple properties at the same time
- choose to have them posted to you or emailed
- select standard processing or urgent (additional fee applies).
