Probus Club of Diamond Valley $747 Recording systems for meeting and events The project will facilitate the opportunity for the Probus Club to record presentations, meetings and events so that isolated members can still stay involved and see what happened at the sessions. The information will also be shared with other probus clubs.
Banyule Community Health $5,000 Enhancing digital literacy and access The team will connect vulnerable clients with appropriate mobile phone packages. Improved consumer literacy and digital skills will allow for essential tasks (MyGov, Centrelink) and contribute to lasting change.
Greenhills Neighbourhood House $5,000 Rainbow Development This project is an intergenerational community development project that encompasses an inclusive swap/shop event, remake activities, a zine project collaboratively produced through our Rainbow Room program and operational training.
All the Best Radio $3,000 Banyule Youth audio workshops The workshops will respond to increased interest in podcasting among young people and run three workshops covering a range of audio and media skills. These including media ethics, conducting interviews, script writing, digital audio production and sound design.
Star Victoria $3,000 ABCs of inclusive education A short series of workshops for parents of children with additional learning needs and early childhood educators. Participants will learn about the supports available for children to experience an inclusive education and the benefits for both the child, the family and the community.
Watsonia Sporting Club $3,000 NAIDOC Week annual celebration The club will deliver a celebration to recognise and celebrate Indigenous cultural heritage, to be attended by club members, their families, as well as the general community.
Banyule Support and Information Centre $3,000 Financial counselling Provide financial counselling to residents of Banyule to assist them to resolve financial issues and prevent them happening again in the future.
Olympic Adult Education Auspicing 3081 Angels/td> $3,000 Beyond Inclusion The project will support volunteers of the children's material aid charity to build inclusion capacity, expand the volunteer base and improve access for the CALD clients.
Viewbank Tennis Club $2,000 LGBTIQA+ open day A day will help to break down the barriers in a non-threatening environment in a safe and supportive atmosphere, inviting members of the LGBTIQA+ community of all ages and stages of life.
