Banyule Council recognises the intrinsic value of the natural environment and aims to conduct its activities in a manner which ensures its diversity, protection and enhancement.

Environmental stewardship refers to a shared responsibility to manage and protect the natural environment. It is an important component in achieving our Council Plan's vision of a green, sustainable and vibrant place for a healthy, connected and inclusive community.
