The Waste Recovery Centre is currently unable to accept garden organics (FOGO), rubble and higher strength materials (including construction formwork plywood, poles, sleepers and oriented strand board) due to equipment repairs. This strategy provides a framework for Banyule Council to holistically address graffiti across the municipality. Graffiti is defined as the marking of private property without permission. It negatively affects people's perceptions of safety and the appearance of an area, and creates a large cost to various Council departments and the community for clean-up.
