Facility subsidy grants

This grant will be closed during elections period. It will reopen on 28 October 2024.

A pool of $15,000 is available and applicants can apply for a subsidy up to $1,100.

We manage a wide range of community centres, halls and venues that are available for hire by the community. Rental fees for these facilities can limit opportunities for groups to access them. This program assists with hall hire to not-for-profit groups in our community.

There are 5 categories for the 2024-2025 funding round.

  1. Not-for-profit groups based in Banyule
  2. Not-for-profit groups located outside of Banyule
  3. New and emerging not-for-profit groups or clubs based in Banyule
  4. Banyule-based groups that do not receive formal funding
  5. Regional, state or national events

You must read the full guidelines(PDF, 202KB) for more information on the categories and speak with a Council officer before submitting your application.
