Enjoy a fun, low-impact workout in the water designed especially for older adults. This gentle class improves strength, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, all while being easy on the joints. First Nations only.

Beginner-friendly pickleball

Join us for social pickleball. We are trialing a new social pickleball program at Nets Stadium. Sessions are led by our friendly Banyule Leisure staff and are targeted for beginners or those who want to play socially. Must be 16 or over.

First Nations womens wellness

Join us for a supportive space for First Nations women to focus on their physical and mental wellbeing. Through shared activities and open conversation, the program encourages connection, healthy habits, and mutual support within the community. First Nations women age 18 and up.

Individual bike skills workshop

New public artwork for Montmorency

A striking new public artwork is coming to Montmorency, drawing inspiration from the local bushland and community feedback. The sculpture is inspired by the native Black She-oak, a tree of cultural significance for the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people and strong ties to Montmorency’s bushland character.

Annual community satisfaction survey

Each year, all councils in Victoria participate in a Community Satisfaction Survey. In 2026, this will be a door-to-door survey of 800 randomly selected Banyule residents who provide feedback on our services and areas of importance.
